How to Make a Gorgeous DIY Paper Flower Gift Topper

I recently managed to find an astonishing gift for one of my closest friends. I'm so stoked to give it to her, just I didn't desire to just popular it in a box and hand it to her. I desire the entire experience to exist special, which means finding a way to make her box special too. And so instead of going to the store for a simple bow as a box topper, I decided I'd make one myself.

I came upwardly with the idea of using a newspaper flower as a box topper. I already knew a few ways to make paper flowers—see this post and this 1—simply I wanted to learn something totally new!

Video Tutorial

Materials:

1. Paper in a color of your choice
2. Pencil
3. Scissors
4. Mucilage
5. Decorative chemical element for the heart of the flower (optional)

Instructions:

1. Begin by using the pencil to depict five flowers on the paper. Each should have half-dozen petals, and they should be more or less similar. Then draw i smaller bloom which also has six petals.

2. Cut the flowers out.

iii. Fold the petals upward a bit so they have a more natural flowery shape. Employ glue to stack them one on summit of the other.

4. If you lot wish, you lot can then add a decorative chemical element of your pick to the middle of the flower. For example, y'all could use a shiny metallic bead.
