Can You Turn Off Blood in Rainbow Six Siege

Can nosotros take an selection for no blood?

Because the other thread was from 2015. http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...o-claret-option

I just can't wait for people to come in here and act like a toxic trash burn (including those parodying a caricature) because I would feel much improve if I could tone downwardly the swearing and some of the blood. Some people have kids, some people have young siblings, some people would like to accept these younger groups in the same room as them when they play, and some would feel better knowing that the fierce shooter game their kids were playing was a little less fierce. Yes the videogame has an Chiliad rating, Ubisoft has done its fair share and isn't required to make any changes. My betoken is that Gears of War is just as fun if you lot turn off the swearing and gore and I genuinely preferred to play the game that way.

Anyways, how would this be implemented? That's something Ubisoft representatives always make a betoken of thanking us for.

Ubisoft refers to voice lines every bit "barks", one method could be past only not playing those barks- using an alternating one instead or not playing ane at all. Alternatively, because I'm certain a GoW-way means of selectively muting words doesn't already exist within Siege, Ubisoft could take the original lines and mute or muffle parts of them. Then when the option to reduce/remove swearing is turned on those contradistinct lines would play instead.

Blood is another thing. Not showing blood on the walls or on the floor would impact the gameplay. Those subtle cues can be important and that should be taken into consideration. Lower resolution textures do exist for those, but that may exist counterintuitive because information technology could potentially increment the corporeality of surface area covered in claret. I think the best place to reduce blood is the mid-air splatter. This is peculiarly prominent when you die and the game shows you being hitting with a big smear of flying claret. In my opinion this is the most noticeable bit of blood in the game exterior of Down-But-Not-Out blood.

i was going to say something like to the other posters but it occurred to me that if you turn the gore off on your stop its affecting no one but yourself. Keeping that in heed its kind of heed boggling every bit to why people are so against a characteristic that volition literally never affect them.

we already have numerous options that can be controlled customer side which dont affect anyone else online then im at a loss to come across the down side of a no blood/no swearing feature... Ubi wouldnt even need to remove the blood for younger players just instead just change the blood colour and phone call information technology paintball mode. Actress funky colours unlocked with renown ? This isnt anything new and ive seen this same feature in other fps's

Again, no 1 would exist forced to utilize this option and the merely people information technology would bear upon are those who choose to enable it so if information technology means more people can enjoy the game and ithas no touch on others, and then why not?

My begetter didn't let me pick up a first person shooter until I was sixteen at the earliest and even then I was limited in what I was allowed to play back and so. This was around the time Medal of Honor was still a large game and the COD franchise was picking up. Then at the worst, if I shot someone, I was actually merely watching a cluster of triangles and squares compiled into a resemblance of a person fall to the ground. Merely don't play an M rated game in forepart of your kids if you're that worried about it. It'south non hard. Move your xbox, PC, PS4 (whatever your station) into your room and close the door. Tell them they're not immune to watch. Trust me when I say that if they whine they -will- get over it.

Let'due south not stop there. My kids want to come across every enemy as Barney the dinosaur, and I 'shoot' them with tickle dust.

Funniest moment with kids so far: Me, 18 playing Splinter Cell, kid my mom is babysitting walks into the room and starts watching. I shoot a guy in the back of the head and he plops to the ground. Kid looks at me and asks: "What was that?" in my hasty try to censor the fact I just ended a mans life with a silenced pistol in a subway system I say "Oh, he's uh....taking a nap. I just used my sleepy gun on him. he'll exist awake in a bit." She looks puzzles for a cursory moment and ultimately decides "Oh, okay. Yeah that makes sense."

Later on on I find another guy I'm supposed to take downward. Take out my pistol, aim effectually the corner *pop* he'southward downward. Without skipping a beat this child follows up with "Nap fourth dimension!"

    this kid is going places....

    (kids and videogames I'thou assuming)
It's christmas day 2007. Me and my cousin got PSPs, and Metal gear solid portable ops. I'm 17, he's like 12 or somesh♥t.
The whole family is present for christmas dinner and drinks. Pretty late in the evening, all the adults are drunk, I'm pretty stoned, drunkard, had a little booger-carbohydrate too. Nosotros are all quite merry.
Literally whole family unit in the living room, me and my cousin playing with our new PSPs. WLAN metal gear solid 1v1. Sh♥t was cash. Of course, I have been absolutely burdensome him. I detect, he looks as though he is about to cry and/or destroy his new PSP. I have to do it, I have to allow him get a kill. And then I exercise and so.
He strolls over to my corpse. Absolutely delighted by his achievement. Now, I would similar to notation, he was 12 years erstwhile (or somesh♥t) and I had only recently started tutoring him on gaming. His only agreement of teabagging was that in the context of videogames.
He teabags my corpse. Now, information technology's pretty noisy in this room. Christmas music, TV, near a dozen drunk adults, other family kids running around and whatnot.
His head flops back every bit his jaw latches open to let out a piercing laugh. HAHA, he said. "Look! I'one thousand teabagging your dead corpse HAHA!!!1elleven!i!!ECKSDEE11!".
The whole room falls silent. I am in accented hysterics. I promptly regain composure and explain teabagging in the context of videogames to basically my entire family, allow them know he has no idea nearly teabagging actual.

More options is always good. Turning off blood would be a huge disadvantage; deceit follow trails, confirm hits... blood provides a lot of metadata we all probably don't even notice.
Pretty sure the majority of the playerbase wants to keep kids as far away as possible from this game anyways.
Maybe add together "no blood" equally an option for custom games. That's all though. We don't want to encourage kids to play in public lobbies if at all. And so aye, similar goldeneye paintball mode for custom games. That's the only reasonable compromise.
The cussing on the other hand? Yeah, I'd like to see an selection to censor it.

My suggestions for you: Overwatch and Fortnite (I would say roblox just you'd probably get gang raped)

    Its already total of youngsters.

Nil issue with a no claret option. But remember the argument it would be more acceptable for children is super weak. This is a game meant for adults. Ubi shouldnt be spending time making it kiddie acceptable. You could just say blood makes you squeamish and would prefer it gone.
